FarmTogether Earns Regenerative Organic Certified® Status for California Vineyards
FarmTogether's Hidden Oaks Organic Vineyard in San Joaquin, CA

San Francisco, CA, August 19, 2025 – FarmTogether today announced that its Vista Luna and Hidden Oaks vineyards in California — operated by Vino Farms, LLC — have officially earned Regenerative Organic Certified® (ROC) status at the Bronze level, awarded by California Certified Organic Farmers (CCOF) on behalf of the Regenerative Organic Alliance (ROA). This certification reflects FarmTogether’s commitment to soil health, environmental stewardship, and fair labor practices across its portfolio.

The ROC framework evaluates agricultural operations holistically, encompassing three core pillars: Soil Health & Land Management, Farmer & Worker Fairness, and ongoing improvement toward higher certification levels. Beyond organic farming practices, ROC certification requires extensive verification procedures related to ecosystem health, worker welfare, and community impact.

ROC is one of several rigorous standards guiding FarmTogether’s farmland management. The firm has enrolled 100% of its farmland acreage in the Leading Harvest Farmland Management Standard, with all acreage certified by independent third-party auditors. This outcomes-based framework covers thirteen environmental, social, and economic objectives—including soil health, water and biodiversity conservation, labor management, climate resilience, and community engagement—and is verified annually through comprehensive management reviews and field audits.

Achieving ROC status represents another milestone in our mission to invest in farmland that delivers both strong returns and measurable environmental and social benefits,” said Boyd Corkins, Head of Farm Management at FarmTogether. “We are grateful to our operating partner, Vino Farms, for their leadership in sustainable vineyard management and their dedication to this rigorous process."

Regenerative Organic Certified® is one of the most comprehensive sustainability standards in agriculture,” said Craig Ledbetter, Vice President & Partner, Vino Farms, the operator for Vista Luna and Hidden Oaks Organic Vineyards. “Earning this certification is the result of a true team effort, from our vineyard crews to our management staff, and reflects our belief that healthy soils, thriving ecosystems, and fair treatment of workers are the foundation of producing exceptional wine grapes."

Vista Luna Organic Vineyard, located in the Borden Ranch AVA, features 142 acres of mature vines producing Chardonnay, Verdelho, Petite Sirah, and specialty varieties such as Primitivo, Albariño, Grenache Blanc, and Graciano. Hidden Oaks Organic Vineyard, in the Clements Hills AVA, is planted with 88 acres of premium Cabernet Sauvignon ideally suited to the region’s rolling hills and mineral-rich soils. Both vineyards maintain USDA Organic certification and are managed under FarmTogether’s Leading Harvest standard, with additional sustainability designations such as LODI RULES.

The ROC designation strengthens FarmTogether’s ability to serve a growing market of wineries prioritizing social and environmental impact in their sourcing, while enhancing long-term vineyard resilience through improved soil health, moisture retention, and ecosystem balance. With transparency at its core, ROC certification includes public directory listings and verifiable certificates, ensuring buyers and consumers can trace product integrity from farm to bottle.
