FarmTogether's Oak Ridge Pistachio Orchard - Crowdfunding Property
FarmTogether is excited to announce the addition of two new team members. We welcome Michael van Putten as an Investment Associate, and Rebecca Bauer as a Senior Communications and Social Media Manager.

Michael joins the team with over 5 years of experience working in finance in varying capacities. Prior to joining FarmTogether, Michael worked for an RIA in Bellevue, WA assisting business owners with retirement planning and 401(k) design. He also spent time at DA Davidson & Co. and the Fresno Housing Authority in both analytical and client-facing roles in his hometown of Fresno, CA.

Michael earned his MBA from La Sierra University and holds a BS in Applied Health Science from Wheaton College. Michael is currently a Level 3 candidate in the CFA program.

"Michael has a strong background in financial planning for high net worth individuals and small business owners. He has worked for both broker dealers and Registered Investment Advisor’s and understands the challenges advisors face in allocating their clients assets. He also has a passion for food and both his experience in finance and as a level 3 candidate in the CFA program will be an asset to the investment team." - Josiah Terrell-Perica (Director, Farmland Investing).

Rebecca comes to FarmTogether with blended in-house and agency experience, developing and driving integrated communications programs for impactful storytelling and building brand awareness. Prior to joining FarmTogether, Rebecca supported some of the Bay Area's top companies in agriculture, CPG, finance, and tech, most recently leading PR, influencer strategy and program execution at Brandless.

Rebecca attended California Polytechnic State University and holds a BS in Agricultural Communications.

"Rebecca comes to us with a mix of experience across industries and roles. Her blend in influencer marketing, PR, and social media, as well as her studies in agricultural communications, will enable her to contribute in a variety of ways. I can already tell Rebecca is a quick learner with a hunger to take on more and more; I expect that she'll grow fast in her role and responsibilities. We're thrilled to have her on the marketing team!" - Sara Spaventa (Director, Growth & Marketing).
