FarmTogether Welcomes New Head of AI & Automation Product

FarmTogether is excited to announce the addition of Kit Barron as our new Head of AI and Automation Product.

Kit has over 10 years of experience leveraging technology to shape the future of food and agriculture. Kit joins FarmTogether after six years at the Climate Corporation, where he helped build the world's leading AgTech platform, most recently as Director of Product, New Features. He has also worked at the CapLog Group, Grupo Bimbo and Harvard's Rockefeller Center for Latin American Studies.

Kit holds an MBA with a focus on Agribusiness from the Fletcher School at Tufts and a BA in Economics and International Studies at Middlebury College. He lives in SF with his wife and two children.​​

We are excited to have Kit join us as Head of AI & Automation Product. In this versatile role Kit will be focusing on enhancing the FarmTogether investment process and asset management using the latest innovations in imaging, agtech, natural language processing, and other cutting-edge technologies. Investing is always a blend of art and science.  By pairing our experienced investment professionals with enabling technologies we can tap into the best of both humans and AI to achieve superior investment results for our investors.

Previously Kit spent [6] years at Climate Corp, a pioneer in the agtech space. At Climate Kit worked on a wide range of solutions and products enlisting resources from all parts of the organization - from engineers to farmers to business professionals.
